Our Visits to Our Shtetlach
- Photos from the Family Trip to Lithuania
- On May 8 - 17 2001, 11 members of our family made a historic trip back to Lithuania to visit the towns of our parents, grandparents and great-grandparents, almost exactly 100 years after they left. Many of us have expressed that this trip was a pivotal event in our lives. We sensed both the beauty of the countryside where our ancestors lived and felt close to the tragedy of the Shoah as we never could have imagined. Fortunately we had several digital camera carried by our group, so we can present many of our photos below.
